HUME REGION FOOTBALL CARNIVAL

After winning the Goulburn Murray District Football Carnivals, NDCs Year 9/10 & 11/12 teams competed at the Hume Region Carnival in Wangaratta on 4 June.

The old saying is poor kicking is poor football, and that proved correct in the Year 9/10s Final when NDC kicked 4 goals and 13 points to lose to Galen College Wangaratta by 19 points, however, the Year 11/12 evened the score line by defeating Galen College in their Final by 30 points.

Year 9/10:

Final – Galen College 9-2-54 def NDC 4-13-37
NDCs best players were Lincoln Brand, Blake Sofra, Jack Mellington, Cody Montgomery, Tanner Miller & Kody Still

Year 11/12

Round 1 – NDC 10-3-63 def Benalla SC 2-1-13
Final – NDC 10-3-63 def Galen College 5-3-33
NDCs best players were Oscar Lambourne, Zavier Davidson, Max Hooper, Flynn Grumley, Kye Jeffery & Noah Muir.

The Year 11/12s now move through to the State Quarter Final to be played in Melbourne on 20 August.
